UAE National Pledge: How Citizens and Residents Can Sign the New National Pledge Online

The UAE national pledge initiative is now open to citizens and residents across the country, offering a simple way to express commitment to the nation’s values, leadership and future.

Launched in May by HH Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, the initiative was introduced during a ceremony at the Abu Dhabi Energy Centre attended by more than 4,800 participants from different sectors of society. Following its launch, the pledge has been made available online through a dedicated platform, allowing wider participation across the UAE.

What Is the UAE National Pledge?

The initiative is designed to strengthen national belonging and encourage a shared sense of responsibility among those who call the UAE home. It is based on four key pillars: promoting coexistence and unity, drawing inspiration from the leadership’s values, strengthening civic responsibility and national identity, and expressing gratitude for the country’s achievements.

The pledge itself is a declaration of loyalty to the UAE and its leadership, while also affirming a commitment to peace, social harmony and contributing to the nation’s continued progress.

How Can You Sign It?

Citizens and residents can participate by visiting the pledge.ae, reading the pledge and completing the digital signing process. The process only takes a few minutes.

After signing, participants receive a personalised Certificate of Appreciation that can be downloaded and shared online. The initiative aims to grow into a wider national movement that combines digital participation and community engagement, while reinforcing the values of unity, tolerance and belonging that continue to shape life across the UAE.
