Taste of La Dolce Vita Is Bringing an Italian Summer to DIFC

Taste of La Dolce Vita is turning DIFC into an Italian-inspired summer destination, with dining, shopping, creative workshops and colourful installations taking place across the district until September 13, 2026.

Running from August 1 to September 13, the six-week celebration spans Gate Avenue, Gate District and Gate Village. Visitors can explore themed installations, discover special offers and enjoy hands-on activities inspired by the easy-going spirit of an Italian summer.

Discover Italian-inspired installations

One of the simplest ways to enjoy the activation is to wander through DIFC and look out for the seasonal installations. Themed displays and Mediterranean-inspired details have been placed around the destination, creating colourful backdrops for photographs.

It is an easy stop if you are already heading to DIFC for lunch, dinner or shopping, with plenty of opportunities to explore the area while taking in the summer-themed décor.

Try your hand at a creative workshop

A highlight of Taste of La Dolce Vita is its complimentary art workshops, designed around the relaxed and creative spirit of the campaign.

Sessions take place daily from 12 pm to 7 pm and are open to ages five and above. Visitors can choose between painting on tote bags, canvas painting and decorating wooden plaques.

The guided sessions offer a chance to slow down and make something of your own, whether you are visiting with children, friends or simply looking for a creative afternoon activity.

Make a meal part of the experience

Several DIFC restaurants are joining the campaign with Italian-inspired dining experiences. At Chic Nonna, the “Business meets La Dolce Vita” lunch offers two courses for AED 130 and three courses for AED 140. Menu highlights include Gamberi e Caponata, Lasagna della Nonna and Scaloppine di Vitello al Limone.

Siena serves Italian dishes in an elegant setting inspired by a Tuscan palazzo, with highlights including lobster focaccia, Siena rigatoni and speciality pizzas.

For an evening with city views, Il Gattopardo sits on the 51st floor of ICD Brookfield Place, offering Italian-inspired dining alongside panoramic views.

Meanwhile, Gloria Osteria brings a touch of 1970s Milanese style to Gate Village. Its Truffle Tuesdays feature unlimited tableside-served Mafaldine al Tartufo from 6:30 pm.

When to visit

Taste of La Dolce Vita runs until September 13, 2026, with experiences spread across Gate Avenue, Gate District and Gate Village.

You can drop by for a meal, browse participating retail offers, join a free workshop or simply explore the Italian-inspired installations around DIFC. It is a relaxed way to add a little Mediterranean flair to a Dubai summer afternoon.
