Sunset Splash Dubai is giving Friday and Saturday evenings a new poolside twist, with Bla Bla by McGettigan’s launching an evening drunch that blends sunset views, free-flow drinks and live DJ sets at its JBR beach club.
The concept is made for that in-between moment when the workday is over but the night is still young. Guests can settle by the pool, watch the sun go down over JBR and enjoy commercial house music as the atmosphere gradually shifts into a lively evening party.
A new way to spend golden hour
Sunset Splash runs from 5 pm to 10 pm, giving guests five hours to enjoy the beach club atmosphere. The free-flow drinks package is available from 5 pm to 8 pm, covering the golden-hour part of the evening.
The next listed edition takes place on Friday, August 21, 2026, with another date scheduled for Saturday, September 5. The concept is planned for every Friday and Saturday.
Rather than feeling like a formal dinner or a traditional daytime pool party, the experience is designed around socialising, music and making the most of Dubai’s beachfront evenings.
What does the package include?
The free-flow drinks package costs Dh199 for ladies and Dh299 for gents. It includes unlimited drinks between 5 pm and 8 pm, while food is available separately from the poolside menu.
That makes it an easy option for a group catch-up that can start with sunset drinks and continue into the evening. The live DJ will be playing commercial house music beside the pool throughout the event.
What to wear
The dress code is beach chic, so swimwear is permitted around the pool area. If you are planning to spend the evening in the water before settling in for drinks, you can dress accordingly.
There is one thing to keep in mind if you plan to continue the night elsewhere within Bla Bla. Swimwear and flip-flops are not permitted in the venue’s Tent, Rooftop or Backroom areas.
The event is also strictly for guests aged 21 and above.
Where is Sunset Splash Dubai?
Sunset Splash takes place at Bla Bla by McGettigan’s, The Beach, JBR, Messer Street. The beachfront destination brings together a beach club, restaurants, bars, karaoke and nightlife, so there is plenty to explore if you want to keep the evening going after the poolside event.
Reservations can be made through Bla Bla’s booking platform, and booking ahead is recommended if you want to secure a spot.
