Gymkhana Dubai Opens This September at DIFC With Michelin-Starred Indian Cuisine

Gymkhana Dubai is set to open its doors on 1 September 2026, bringing one of London’s most celebrated Indian restaurants to the UAE. Located in Gate Village, Building 7 at Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), the new restaurant marks the first international outpost of the two Michelin-starred dining destination.

Known for its refined take on Indian cuisine, Gymkhana has built a global reputation for combining traditional flavours with contemporary presentation. The Dubai opening is expected to introduce both loyal fans and first-time visitors to the restaurant’s award-winning menu in an impressive new setting.

A New Home for Gymkhana’s Signature Dining Experience

The Dubai restaurant will span two levels and accommodate 137 guests, offering a spacious dining room, a large outdoor terrace, and the venue’s signature peacock bar. The design draws inspiration from the historic gymkhana clubs of India, which were known as social and sporting gathering places during the colonial era. The interiors aim to reflect that heritage while creating a warm and elegant atmosphere suited to modern dining.

Guests can look forward to many of the dishes that have made the London restaurant famous. The menu will include favourites such as Aloo Chaat, Tandoori Masala Lamb Chops, and Butter Chicken, alongside a selection of new dishes created exclusively for the Dubai location. This combination allows returning diners to enjoy the restaurant’s signature flavours while giving local guests something unique to discover.

What to Know Before the Opening

Gymkhana Dubai will officially welcome diners from 1 September 2026 at its new DIFC address. Its location in Gate Village places it among Dubai’s best-known restaurants and makes it easily accessible to both residents and visitors exploring the city’s financial district.

The arrival of Gymkhana adds another internationally recognised name to Dubai’s growing dining landscape. With a menu rooted in classic Indian cuisine, a thoughtfully designed space, and a reputation built on Michelin-starred excellence, the restaurant is expected to become one of the city’s most anticipated openings of the year.

Reservations and additional details are expected to be announced closer to the opening date. For anyone who has long wanted to experience the acclaimed London restaurant, or simply enjoys exceptional Indian cuisine, Gymkhana Dubai is one to add to your September list.
