Emirates FIFA World Cup 2026 Coverage to Stream Every Match Live Onboard

Emirates FIFA World Cup 2026 coverage will allow football fans to watch every match live while travelling, with the Dubai-based airline announcing that all tournament games will be available onboard its flights.

Passengers will be able to tune in through Sport 24, the airline’s dedicated sports channel available on its ice inflight entertainment system. Coverage will run from the opening ceremony in Mexico on June 11, 2026, through to the final in the United States on July 19, ensuring travellers can follow every major moment of the tournament even at 40,000 feet.

The announcement means football fans flying with Emirates during the competition won’t have to miss any of the action, whether they are travelling for business, holidays, or connecting through Dubai.

How to Watch Matches Onboard

Live coverage will be available through Sport 24 and Sport 24 Extra on most Emirates flights. Passengers can access the channels through the airline’s entertainment system and watch matches live throughout their journey.

Availability may vary depending on the aircraft type and route. Emirates also confirmed that, where operationally possible, World Cup matches will be shown in its Dubai lounges, allowing passengers to catch the action before boarding their flights.

More Live Sport This Summer

The airline is also expanding its live sports offering beyond football. Basketball fans can watch the NBA Finals on Sport 24 and Sport 24 Extra until June 20, while sailing enthusiasts can follow the Canada Sail Grand Prix from Halifax Harbour on June 20 and 21.

Motorsport fans will also be able to tune into the Formula 1 Belgian Grand Prix on July 19 and the Formula 1 Hungarian Grand Prix on July 26.

By offering live coverage of some of the world’s biggest sporting events, Emirates continues to enhance the in-flight experience, giving passengers a chance to stay connected to the action wherever they are travelling.
