HYROX in the Snow: Ski Dubai to host first-ever sub-zero fitness challenge on June 28

HYROX in the Snow is set to bring a new fitness experience to Dubai this month, as Ski Dubai prepares to host the first edition of the event on Sunday, June 28.

Organised by Ski Dubai in collaboration with the Dubai Sports Council and powered by Athlete Fitness, the challenge combines endurance training and functional fitness exercises in a unique sub-zero environment. Participants will take on a series of workout stations inside Ski Dubai’s indoor snow park, where temperatures are maintained at around -4°C.

What participants can expect

Open to men and women aged 18 to 60, the event is designed as a partner-based challenge that encourages teamwork and motivation throughout the workout.

Participants will move through a range of fitness stations inspired by HYROX-style training. Activities include running through the snow, ski and rowing erg exercises, strength-focused movements such as lunges, wall balls and farmer’s carries, as well as bodyweight exercises including burpees and air squats.

The event is suitable for those who regularly train as well as fitness enthusiasts looking to test themselves in a different environment. The snowy setting adds an extra challenge compared to traditional indoor or outdoor workouts.

Registration details and event information

HYROX in the Snow will take place on Sunday, June 28, at Ski Dubai. Registration is now open, with entry fees starting from AED 150 per person.

The event is powered by Athlete Fitness, an official training partner of HYROX, and aims to offer participants a race-inspired fitness experience in one of Dubai’s most unique sporting venues.

Organisers have clarified that HYROX in the Snow is an independent fitness event inspired by HYROX training methods and is not an official HYROX race.
