Dubai Fashion Week has announced the dates for its Spring/Summer 2027 edition (SS27). Dubai Fashion Week 2026 will take place from Thursday, 22 October to Monday, 26 October 2026 at Dubai Design District (d3). Designer applications are now open, giving brands and emerging names the chance to put themselves forward for a place on the upcoming schedule.
For anyone unfamiliar with fashion week calendars, the season naming can be slightly confusing. The SS27 collections being presented this October are designed for the spring and summer retail season of 2027.
What To Expect from the SS27 Programme
The upcoming edition will bring together regional designers, buyers and other fashion industry figures. The programme focuses on showcasing creativity from the region. The full runway schedule has not yet been announced, so the designers taking part are yet to be revealed.
Alongside the runway shows, the Buyers Programme will give retailers an opportunity to discover new collections through showroom appointments and designer previews. There will also be networking opportunities connecting designers with buyers, retailers and members of the media.
How Can Designers Apply?
Designer applications are currently open through the official Dubai Fashion Week website. Submissions will be reviewed by a Selection Committee, which will choose the final lineup with a focus on representing the evolving fashion scene across the region.
An application deadline has not been announced yet. Designers interested in taking part should apply sooner, rather than waiting for the October event dates to approach. The runway lineup will be announced at a later stage.
Holding the event at Dubai Design District keeps it rooted in one of the city’s best-known creative hubs. The event will bring designers, buyers and media back to Dubai in October.
