Dubai is heading into the weekend with a calendar that feels properly varied, spanning fitness, wellness, culture and a few more unexpected experiences. From creative workshops to laid-back healing sessions, there are plenty of events.

What to Do This Weekend in Dubai

The Byron Bathers Beach Club & Bar

Global Village

Global Village reopened on 20th April after a 51-day closure. This weekend definitely calls for a visit to the multicultural park, which has only three weeks left in its 30th season. You can purchase entry tickets on the website.

This season features 30 pavilions representing more than 90 cultures. You can shop at more than 3,500 shopping spots, and there are more than 250 dining outlets to cover the entire day’s meals.

City Nature Challenge

If you’re in the mood for something a little more mindful, the City Nature Challenge Dubai offers a different way to spend the weekend. The idea is simple: get outdoors, notice what’s around you, and document everything from plants and wildlife to coastal finds using the iNaturalist app as part of a citywide initiative.

Alongside it, there’s a family-friendly biodiversity festival with a mix of hands-on workshops, expert-led talks and storytelling sessions, plus creative activities to keep younger visitors engaged without it feeling overly structured.

There’s plenty to dip in and out of, from guided nature walks and casual arts and crafts to indoor film screenings and a small eco-market showcasing sustainable finds. Tickets are priced at AED 50, with little ones under three entering free.

DIFC Art Nights

The Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) is preparing for the 21st edition of DIFC Art Nights, scheduled this weekend. If you’re an art enthusiast, this event should definitely be on your list.

Expect curated exhibitions featuring a selection of global artworks, interactive and immersive installations, talks led by experts across various creative fields, complimentary workshops, live performances, and selected film screenings.

Yin Yoga at ZOGA

For something slower paced, this Yin Yoga session by ZOGA offers a chance to properly switch off. Priced at AED 250, the session combines gentle, held poses with sound healing using crystal bowls and gongs tuned to 432Hz.

It’s designed to quiet the mind and reset the body, with a focus on stillness, breath and deep release making it a good option if you’re looking to step away from the usual high-energy weekend plans.

You can visit ZOGA’s social media page to sign up.

  • On: Saturday, 25th April; 5 pm to 7 pm
  • Location: Dubai Internet City, Building 6

Five Iron Golf Dubai

If you’re after something easy and a bit competitive, this entertainment venue is running unlimited free mini golf sessions daily until 30 April, from 12pm to 10pm.

It’s the final weekend to catch the offer, so it’s a good excuse to head down and make the most of the nine-hole course, whether you’re going with friends or keeping it casual with family.

Among their other limited-time offers are an extended brunch on Saturdays, from 1 pm to 5 pm and from 7 pm to 11 pm. You can enjoy four hours of sim time, food and beverages, music and games.

  • Location: The Westin Dubai Mina Seyahi, Dubai Marina

A good weekend in Dubai doesn’t have to revolve around malls or dinner plans. From getting outdoors with the City Nature Challenge to a casual round of mini golf, slowing things down with Yin yoga, or taking in the atmosphere at a DIFC Art Night, there’s plenty to dip into across the city without overplanning it.
