The experience begins at The Museum’s Reserves, where visitors explore a behind-the-scenes-style collection of fossils and skeletons while learning about palaeontology. The experience then moves from virtual to physical through the Virtual to Reality zone. Here, life-sized animatronic dinosaurs move through recreated natural habitats, offering a closer look at the creatures and plenty of photo opportunities. A Creative Play area rounds out the visit with interactive activities and dinosaur-themed moments for younger visitors.

The attraction is designed for visitors aged four and above, although children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. The VR walking arena is available for guests aged six and above.
