UAE AI Camp 2026: Dubai’s Two-Week Deep Dive Into the Future of AI

The UAE AI Camp 2026 is returning to Dubai from August 17 to 29, bringing two weeks of workshops, practical training and hackathons focused on how artificial intelligence is shaping everyday life and work. Now in its eighth edition, the free programme is organised by the UAE Government’s Artificial Intelligence Office alongside the National Program for Coders.

The camp is designed to make AI more accessible to people at different stages of their education and careers, making it an interesting opportunity for anyone curious about where technology is heading.

Who can attend the UAE AI Camp?

You do not need to be a computer science student or AI professional to take part. The programme is open to school and university students, working professionals, SME owners and technology enthusiasts.

That broad approach is part of what makes the camp different from a conventional technology conference. Sessions are designed around practical knowledge, giving participants the chance to explore how AI can be used in education, business and everyday digital activities.

The first seven editions have attracted more than 34,000 participants, according to the organisers.

What will you learn?

The programme covers several areas of emerging technology. Participants can explore the difference between generative AI, which creates content in response to prompts, and agentic AI, which is designed to carry out tasks more independently.

There are also hands-on robotics sessions, along with workshops covering cybersecurity, fraud detection, password protection and digital well-being. Students can take part in the Gemini Academy, while professionals can explore practical uses of AI in project management, legal operations, compliance, marketing and video production.

Other sessions look at AI-powered mobile applications and educational content, giving participants a broader view of how the technology is already being applied across different industries.

There is a Future of Transport Hackathon

One of the programme’s standout features is the Future of Transport Hackathon, developed with the Transport Authority of the Government of Ajman. Participants will be challenged to look at real-world transport problems and explore how machine learning and AI could help solve them.

The practical format allows participants to move beyond simply learning about AI and actually think about how the technology can be applied to everyday challenges.

Which technology companies are involved?

The 2026 edition brings together several major technology and business partners. These include Google’s Maharat Min Google, Microsoft, Intel, Accenture and BytePlus, alongside other participating organisations.

For attendees, this adds another useful dimension to the camp, offering exposure to different approaches to AI, digital skills and emerging technologies.

Why is the camp worth knowing about?

With AI becoming increasingly relevant to education, creative work, business and technology, the UAE AI Camp offers a chance to understand the technology in a practical setting. The two-week programme runs August 17 to 29, 2026, in Dubai, and is free to attend, making it an accessible option for students, professionals and anyone looking to build their understanding of AI.
