The Flame Tree is well-suited to Dubai’s hot, humid climate. It grows fast in its early years, naturally forming a broad canopy, and doesn’t require intensive care.

These trees can reach up to 12 metres. Their canopies can span up to 15 metres, providing ample shade and reducing ground temperature by approximately 5 degrees, which is ideal for Dubai during the summer.

Flame trees in Dubai can be planted in well-drained sandy or clay soil. They can live up to 60 years and usually take 10 years to reach full maturity. They need 6 to 8 hours of direct sunlight daily and are highly drought tolerant.
