AI-Generated Content
Spreading any piece of misinformation on the basis of an unofficial video is risky during uncertain times, as it risks public security.

Digital Dubai put out a video showcasing various senior officials of Dubai’s governmental bodies speaking about the importance of deepfakes and identifying real videos from fake ones.
A few of the figures included in the video are Omar Al Olama, the Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications, and Abdulla Al Hamed, Chairman of the National Media Authority, among other figures of authority.
In a twist, the video itself revealed to be artificially-generated signifying the ease deepfakes and AI content can lure in viewers. Audio and images can be manipulated to create believable content.
Fake news can prove especially dangerous if it is related to claims about security matters or geopolitical tensions. Residents must always verify information before sharing.
