Dubai Nurseries to Reopen: KHDA Announcement

Nurseries in Dubai are set to gradually return to on-site learning, as announced by the Knowledge and Human Development Authority of Dubai (KHDA Dubai).

The KHDA stated that the Education, Human Development and Community Development Council have issued updates regarding the eventual resumption of on-site learning for private early childhood centres in Dubai. This will be applied for nurseries that are situated on government premises and in commercial buildings, starting from Thursday, 16th April onwards.

However, it emphasised that resumption in Dubai nurseries is also subject to KHDA approval and whether it is in line with safety regulations and procedures, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for young children. Other nurseries will be aided in providing home-based childcare services in alignment with approved regulations.

“The safety and wellbeing of students, staff, and the wider community remain the highest priority. We also encourage everyone to rely on official national sources for information and to avoid circulating unverified news,” the KLHDA affirmed in the statement.
