Dubai Municipality has announced that it will allocate 6 beaches as family-only during the Eid Al Adha holidays as part of efforts to improve safety and comfort in Dubai during the busy festive period.
The designated family-only beaches include Jumeirah 1, Jumeirah 2, Jumeirah 3, Umm Suqeim 1, Umm Suqeim 2, and Khor Al Mamzar Beach, along with selected night beaches.
Extended park timings during Eid
Several parks and attractions across Dubai will operate for longer hours during the holiday. Quranic Park will remain open from 8 am until midnight, while Dubai Frame will welcome visitors from 8 am to 9 pm.
Zabeel Park, Creek Park, Al Safa Park, Mushrif National Park, and Al Mamzar Park will also stay open until midnight.
Free ice cream
Dubai Municipality will also organise free ice cream giveaways at selected public parks during the first two days of Eid between 4 pm and 7 pm.
Increased Inspection drives
Authorities have meanwhile increased inspections across restaurants, hotels, salons, shopping centres, and food establishments to maintain health and safety standards during the Eid rush.
