CRUNCH Dubai is set to open its doors on Saturday, August 1, 2026, bringing a fresh all-day dining concept to Jumeirah. Located on Al Wasl Road, the new restaurant and artisanal bakery blends European cooking techniques with a Scandinavian approach to seasonal ingredients, creating a space that is designed for everything from a quick morning coffee to a relaxed dinner.
Founded by husband-and-wife chefs Mukhtar Kosbayev and Anastassiya Kosbayeva, CRUNCH is the couple’s first restaurant together after years spent working in acclaimed kitchens around the world, including renowned restaurants such as Noma and Frantzén. Their vision is to create a warm neighbourhood destination where quality food, thoughtful hospitality and beautifully designed interiors come together.
Built by two chefs with a shared vision
For Mukhtar and Anastassiya, CRUNCH is more than just a restaurant opening. After years of leading kitchens, private dining experiences and culinary studios across Europe and the Middle East, the pair have created a concept that reflects their own approach to food and hospitality.
The restaurant is centred around quality ingredients, careful craftsmanship and genuine service. Every detail, from the recipes to the atmosphere, has been designed to make guests feel welcome, whether they’re stopping by for a quick coffee or settling in for a long meal.
Fresh baking and an all-day menu
At the heart of CRUNCH is its in-house bakery, where everything is baked fresh every day. Expect artisan sourdough, traditional focaccia and a selection of pastries prepared on-site using carefully selected ingredients.
The bakery also introduces a playful twist with a custom croissant-filling bar, allowing guests to personalise their pastries, alongside mini croissant cereal, a creative take on one of social media’s favourite breakfast trends.
Beyond the bakery, the all-day menu is built around seasonal dishes inspired by European flavours. Open daily from 8:00 AM until midnight, the restaurant transitions naturally throughout the day, serving speciality coffee and breakfast in the morning before moving into leisurely lunches, afternoon catch-ups and evening dining.
Designed for slow mornings and long evenings
CRUNCH has been created as a space where guests can comfortably spend time throughout the day. The interiors combine natural travertine stone, warm wood finishes, curved bouclé seating and glowing onyx tables to create a relaxed setting that feels equally suited to breakfast meetings, casual lunches or dinner with friends.
With its artisan bakery, thoughtfully curated menu and welcoming atmosphere, CRUNCH is shaping up to be one of Jumeirah’s most exciting new dining destinations when it opens this August.
