Chef’s Society at City Centre Mirdif has officially opened, introducing a fresh dining destination where some of the region’s most celebrated chefs and homegrown restaurant concepts come together under one roof. Located near the cinema inside City Centre Mirdif, the new culinary hub offers visitors a different kind of mall dining experience, one that places the spotlight on the chefs behind the food.
Rather than a traditional food court, Chef’s Society is a curated collection of chef-led concepts, celebrating creativity, craftsmanship and authentic flavours. The venue launches with four restaurants, each led by a well-known culinary name, while several more popular dining brands are expected to join before the destination’s full launch later this year.
Whether you’re planning a meal before catching a film or looking for a new restaurant to try with friends and family, Chef’s Society adds another exciting reason to visit City Centre Mirdif.
Four chef-led restaurants are now welcoming guests
The first phase of Chef’s Society introduces four distinct dining concepts, each offering its own unique cuisine and culinary perspective.
Bait Maryam, led by award-winning Chef Salam Daqaq, serves Levantine and Palestinian dishes inspired by family recipes, earning the restaurant a loyal following in Dubai.
Japanese cuisine comes from REIF Japanese Kushiyaki, founded by acclaimed Chef Reif Othman, where guests can enjoy the restaurant’s signature take on modern Japanese street food.
Making its first appearance in the UAE is Bonci, created by renowned Italian pizzaiolo Chef Gabriele Bonci. The restaurant specialises in authentic Roman-style pizza al taglio, with slices served by weight and topped with carefully selected ingredients.
Completing the opening line-up is ATHAR by The Qlab, by Chef Nabhan Al Ali, offering contemporary Emirati cuisine alongside an all-day dining menu in a relaxed setting.
More well-known dining concepts are on the way
Chef’s Society is only just getting started. The destination is set to expand over the coming months, with more restaurants joining the line-up ahead of its official full launch later this year.
Among the names expected to open are Tashas, Saddle and Brookie, adding even more variety to the growing collection of dining concepts.
