Endurance Games 2026 is bringing a new kind of fitness challenge to Dubai on Sunday, August 30, with an indoor multisport festival designed for endurance athletes, fitness enthusiasts and anyone looking for a high-energy challenge. Taking place at Hamdan Sports Complex, the inaugural event is billed as the Middle East’s first-ever indoor multisport festival.
The concept combines short, intense races with the atmosphere of a live sporting event. With swimming, cycling, running and functional fitness challenges taking place indoors, participants can test their endurance in a climate-controlled setting.
Five ways to take on the challenge
There are five race categories, each offering a different combination of disciplines and distances.
- Aquabike: 350m swim followed by a 5km bike
- Aquathlon: 350m swim followed by a 1.2km run
- Triathlon: 350m swim, 5km bike and 1.2km run
- Duathlon: 1.2km run, 5km bike and 0.8km run
- Endurex: 1.2km run, 25 burpees, 5km bike, 25 push-ups, 0.8km run and 25 air squats
The format keeps the distances relatively compact, making the races fast-paced while still demanding speed, stamina and transitions between disciplines.
What to expect at Hamdan Sports Complex
The races are designed around the facilities at Hamdan Sports Complex. Participants will swim in the venue’s Hamdan Pool, use Skillbikes for the cycling sections and run on a dedicated 400m indoor course.

The event is also planned as more than a race. Dynamic lighting, music and a live race atmosphere will add to the experience, while spectators can watch the action from start to finish.
An expo area featuring event partners and sponsors will also be available, with participant goodie bags including products, giveaways and special offers. Race entry includes timing, photo service or downloads, refreshments and a goodie bag.
Race timings and registration
The event starts from 6 am, with the tentative race windows spread across the day. Aquabike is scheduled for 6 am to 9 am, Aquathlon from 8 am to 10:30 am, Triathlon from 9:30 am to 1 pm, Duathlon from 12 pm to 3 pm and Endurex from 2 pm to 5:30 pm.
The organisers note that the final schedule would be shared three days before the event. General registration closed on August 26, 2026, so anyone hoping to participate should check directly with the organisers for the latest status. Overall, Endurance Games offers Dubai’s fitness community a compact and energetic way to test multiple disciplines under one roof, with podium awards planned for the top three male and female finishers in every discipline.
