Free Vehicle Safety Checks Dubai: Give Your Car a Summer Health Check

Free vehicle safety checks Dubai drivers can use this summer are giving motorists an easy way to make sure their cars are ready for the intense August heat.

Dubai Police has teamed up with AutoPro for a complimentary 10-point vehicle inspection running until Sunday, August 23, 2026. The initiative is part of the “On The Go” and “Summer Without Accidents” campaigns, encouraging drivers to take a little time for routine car care before a small issue becomes an inconvenient breakdown.

A quick summer check for your car

Summer in Dubai can be tough on vehicles, particularly when cars are spending hours parked outside or travelling in high temperatures. The free inspection is designed to help motorists spot potential problems while they are still manageable.

There is no need to turn it into a major service appointment either. The checks are available at participating AutoPro centres inside ENOC petrol stations across Dubai, making it convenient to combine a car check with a regular fuel stop.

Participating locations include AutoPro centres in Al Quoz, Deira, Jumeirah and Jumeirah Village Circle (JVC).

What will they check?

The 10-point inspection looks at several important parts of your car, with particular attention to areas that can become more vulnerable during summer.

Technicians will check tyres, engine oil and coolant, along with essential vehicle safety systems. Tyre condition and pressure are particularly worth keeping an eye on during the hotter months, while adequate coolant and engine oil levels help support the vehicle’s cooling and lubrication systems.

The inspection is also a useful reminder to look after the less glamorous parts of summer driving. A car that feels perfectly normal on a short trip can still have an issue that becomes noticeable during a longer drive, especially in extreme heat.

A handy excuse to check your tyres

For many drivers, tyre checks are easy to put off until something feels wrong. A free inspection offers a simple reason to get them looked at before a weekend road trip, a long commute or a drive out of the city.

It can also provide some peace of mind when the temperature is soaring, and your car’s air conditioning is working overtime.

There’s more road-safety activity this month

The free inspection is not the only road-safety initiative taking place. The Ministry of Interior’s “A Day Without Accidents” campaign is also encouraging motorists to make a safety pledge.

Drivers who register through the official campaign and meet its requirements can have four black points removed from their driving record after completing the designated accident-free day on Monday, August 31.

For anyone who has been meaning to give their car some attention, the Dubai Police and AutoPro initiative is a convenient summer reminder. The check is free, takes place at participating ENOC AutoPro centres, and runs only until August 23, so there is a limited window to make use of it.
