RTA Bus Service Offers Unlimited Free Bus Routes in Dubai in 2 Areas

Dubai’s widely used RTA bus service, Dubai Bus On Demand, has been made available for free between two bustling areas of the city.

Initially, free bus rides were offered from 30th March to 5th April. Following high demand, the service was extended until 12th April, increasing public transport convenience for Dubai residents.

Until the end of this week, commuters can enjoy free bus routes in Dubai, across Al Qusais and Jumeirah Village Circle (JVC), using the Bus On Demand app.

What Dubai Residents Should Know

The Dubai Bus On Demand service allows commuters to request a small public bus from their location and usually costs AED 5 for one trip.

After downloading the app from Google Play or the App Store, register to book a ride, and then, enter your location and the desired point of arrival.

The service also has an eco-friendly way of operating, by pooling the individual routes of each passenger. A maximum of six people can ride together.

What are the bus service timings?

From Monday to Thursday, and on Saturday, the service runs from 5 am till 12 am/ On Friday, timings are from 5 am to 1 am the next day, whilst operations on Sunday are between 8 am and 12 am.
