Dubai’s iconic outdoor attraction, Global Village, has been closed for five weeks, since the beginning of regional tensions and other geopolitical developments in Dubai and the UAE.
In a social media post, Global Village expressed appreciation for the public’s enthusiasm and excitement for the park’s reopening, and asked residents to stay tuned to their official channels for the latest updates and announcements.
Is Global Village Reopening Soon?
The statement by Global Village, also posted on their website, clearly suggests the park may reopen soon. Although no opening date has been officially declared yet, a number of rumours have been circulating regarding a possible opening on 13th April.
In a previous social media post, the park had announced it would remain closed until further notice as a safety measure in line with official guidance from the authorities.
The closure of the park’s premises on 28th February has left many residents desperate for information on its reopening, particularly as Global Village still has a few weeks left before the end of its 30th season.
