Flights from Dubai: What Travelers Need to Know about Emirates

Emirates has updated its air travel information on its official website, announcing limited flight operations. The airline stated it continues to monitor the situation and will adjust flight schedules accordingly.

Emirates advises passengers to check the latest flight schedules on their website for all arrivals in and departures from Dubai, even if the information and timings are not available elsewhere online.

Advice for Passengers

In particular, the airline has emphasised the following advice, which should be noted and adhered to, for those intending to travel outside of the UAE:

  • Keep checking flight status and follow the latest operational updates on emirates.com. Flights may be changed, delayed, or cancelled; hence, keep tabs on notifications and updates, both on the site and in the news
  • Rebooking is possible: Emirates will attempt to get passengers facing delays and cancellations on the next available flight, including for journeys beyond Dubai. Stay in touch with Manage Your Booking, the Emirates App, or your travel agent for support.
  • Travelers on connecting flights through Dubai should not come to the airport if they KNOW any flights on their journey have been cancelled; they will not be able to board at their point of origin.

Navigating Bookings Online

Flights may be rebooked even if they have not been disrupted. Another flight can be rebooked on or before 31st May 2026. However, they will have to recheck details for seat preferences, dietary needs and meals, and other services.

Those unable to travel via Emirates Dubai flights can seek a refund by visiting the website and completing a refund form, or by contacting their travel agent.

Some changes may require specific action from the Emirates team. This applies when flight itineraries have been partially cancelled, no flights in preferred bookings are operational, or additional support is required for certain types of tickets.

Passengers can contact their local Emirates Contact Centre for tickets booked directly with the airline, or use the live chat on emirates.com.

While Emirates’s city check-in points in Dubai remain closed at present until further notice, passengers can visit their retail stores:

  • Emirates Reservations and Ticketing desk at Terminal 3, Dubai International Airport
  • Emirates World, Jumeirah Town Centre
  • Emirates Group Technology Centre, near the Clock Tower, Deira
