Noren JLT is the new Japanese restaurant to have on your Dubai dining radar, opening at Pullman Dubai Jumeirah Lakes Towers on September 2, 2026. With a menu spanning sushi, raw plates and Japanese grill dishes, the new restaurant is set to bring an experienced team and a lively dining room to one of Dubai’s busiest neighbourhoods.
A Team With Zuma Experience
There is plenty of restaurant experience behind the new opening. Noren is led by Ilir Caushi and Pawel Kazanowski, who spent more than 15 years at Zuma.
That background sets the tone for a restaurant focused on Japanese flavours with a polished approach. The menu includes familiar favourites alongside dishes that put more emphasis on premium ingredients and Japanese sauces.
Among the dishes already revealed are thinly sliced chutoro with jalapeño, usugiri tomato with Ibaraki soy sauce, and grilled tuna steak with wafu sauce, wasabi salad, avocado and Japanese mizuna.
There is also red miso-glazed bone marrow and king crab with Hokkaido lemon butter, giving diners plenty to explore beyond the usual sushi order.
Sushi, Grills And An Open Kitchen
Noren is designed to make the cooking part of the experience. The restaurant features an open kitchen, a dedicated sushi counter and a grill, giving diners different vantage points across the room.
Of course, sushi and raw plates will also be part of the offering, making the restaurant suitable for both a full Japanese dinner and a more casual meal built around smaller plates.
At the centre of the dining room, an island bar will serve signature cocktails alongside an extensive selection of sake. It adds another social element to the restaurant and gives diners a reason to linger after dinner.
Opening In JLT This September
Noren will welcome its first guests on September 2, with reservations available from opening day.
The opening comes at a time when Dubai’s Japanese dining options continue to grow. For different takes on Japanese cuisine, ROKA is known for robatayaki, Taiga focuses on teppanyaki omakase, while TakaHisa combines Japanese dining with wagyu and Downtown views.
There are also more openings on the horizon, including Hikiniku To Come, which specialises in Japanese hamburg steaks, and Tora Tora, a ramen-focused restaurant.
