If you enjoy spending time outdoors, the new Mushrif National Park bridge gives you another reason to explore one of Dubai’s largest green spaces. The 102-metre landmark bridge has opened at Mushrif National Park, connecting previously separate sections of the mountain biking trail and creating a more seamless route through the forest.

The new addition is designed to make moving around the park easier while keeping cyclists and hikers away from vehicle traffic. It also adds a distinctive new feature to a destination popular with families, fitness enthusiasts and anyone looking to spend time in nature.

A smoother route through the park

Previously, mountain bikers had to cross a road used by vehicles when moving between sections of the trail. The new bridge removes that interruption, allowing riders to continue their journey without leaving the dedicated trail network.

The overall mountain biking journey across the bridge extends to 182 metres, creating a more connected experience through Mushrif National Park’s natural surroundings.

The bridge has also been designed with two dedicated lanes. One is intended for mountain bikers, while the other is exclusively for hikers. This separation helps different groups move through the area more comfortably and safely.

Designed around the natural landscape

The project has been developed to fit into the character of Mushrif National Park rather than compete with it. The bridge complements the surrounding Ghaf forest while improving movement between different parts of the park.

For visitors, this means the infrastructure is not simply a way to get from one trail section to another. It becomes part of the outdoor experience, linking cycling, hiking and nature in a single route.

The project is part of Dubai Municipality’s continued efforts to develop Mushrif National Park as an outdoor destination centred around recreation, active lifestyles and nature.

Start your adventure at Mushrif Hub

Visitors can access the new trail connection from Mushrif Hub, the park’s activity centre for mountain bikers, hikers and other outdoor enthusiasts.

Entry to the park costs AED 3 per person or AED 10 per car, payable using an RTA Nol Card. Children under two and People of Determination can enter free of charge.

The mountain biking trails themselves are free to use after entering the park. If you do not have a bike, rentals are available at Mushrif Hub, starting from AED 65 per hour.

With its new bridge, dedicated trails and natural setting, Mushrif National Park is becoming an even more appealing option for a morning ride, an active day outdoors or a slower escape into Dubai’s forested landscape.
