5 Exciting New Openings Coming Soon to Mall of the Emirates

Mall of the Emirates is in the middle of one of its biggest transformations yet, with a wave of new retail, dining and lifestyle concepts set to join the shopping destination over the coming months and years. As part of Majid Al Futtaim’s multi-billion-dirham redevelopment, visitors can look forward to everything from global activewear brands and new dining destinations to immersive lifestyle spaces.

While several names have been circulating online, only a handful have been officially confirmed. If you’re planning your next shopping trip, here are five upcoming additions that have been announced so far.

Alo Yoga

The popular California-born activewear brand is preparing to open a new flagship at Mall of the Emirates, giving fitness enthusiasts another reason to visit. Known for its premium athleisure collections, Alo Yoga has built a strong following worldwide by combining fashion, wellness and community under one roof.

The new store is expected to follow the brand’s experiential flagship concept, offering an expanded range of men’s and women’s activewear, loungewear and accessories. Inspired by Alo’s larger international stores, the space is also expected to encourage a sense of community through its wellness-focused design.

The flagship is being introduced in partnership with Alshaya Group, although an opening date has yet to be announced.

On

Swiss performance brand On is set to open its first standalone store in the Middle East at Mall of the Emirates. Best known for its CloudTec running technology, the brand has become a favourite among runners and fitness enthusiasts looking for lightweight, high-performance footwear.

Located opposite Zara, the new boutique will offer the brand’s full collection of running shoes, technical apparel and lifestyle products, giving shoppers access to a wider range than previously available through multi-brand retailers.

The opening marks an important milestone for On as it continues expanding its retail presence in the region.

La Maison Ani

Chef Izu Ani’s popular French brasserie is expanding with a second Dubai location at the Mall of the Emirates. Created by Fundamental Hospitality, La Maison Ani has become known for bringing the atmosphere of a traditional Parisian neighbourhood restaurant to the city.

The new venue will feature a spacious dining room, an open kitchen and an artisan boulangerie serving freshly baked breads and pastries throughout the day. Guests can also dine on a wraparound terrace designed to recreate the charm of a Parisian garden.

The all-day menu will move from breakfast favourites such as croissants and baguettes to seasonal lunch dishes and classic French brasserie meals in the evening.

Nike’s New Concept Store

Nike is also preparing a refreshed concept store as part of the mall’s wider redevelopment. Rather than a traditional retail space, the new flagship is expected to introduce a more interactive shopping experience inspired by Nike’s latest global store concepts.

Visitors can look forward to digital features, personalised shopping experiences and dedicated areas for product customisation. The redesigned store is also expected to host community-led fitness initiatives that bring customers together beyond the shopping experience.

Further details, including an opening date, are expected to be announced in the future.

The Hangout

One of the most intriguing additions is The Hangout, a brand-new lifestyle destination that will replace the former THAT Concept Store space. Although details remain limited, the concept has been designed as a place where shopping, dining and socialising come together.

Rather than functioning as a traditional retail store, The Hangout is expected to feature casual dining experiences, lifestyle brands and flexible communal spaces where visitors can relax between shopping trips.

As Mall of the Emirates continues its transformation, The Hangout is expected to become one of the centre’s new social hubs.
