Salik Cashless Parking at Dubai Harbour Now Live With Automatic Payments

Salik cashless parking at Dubai Harbour is now available, making parking easier for motorists visiting the waterfront destination. The new ticketless and cashless payment system officially went live on July 13, 2026, at the Harbour West Car Park. Introduced through a partnership between Salik, Shamal, and parking technology company Parkonic, the system removes the need for paper tickets, payment machines, or cash while helping drivers enter and exit the car park more quickly.

The launch is part of Salik’s wider plans to expand beyond road toll collection by offering digital payment solutions across Dubai’s transport and mobility network.

How the new parking system works

The Harbour West Car Park uses Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) technology to identify vehicles as they enter and leave the facility. Cameras scan the vehicle’s licence plate, allowing the system to calculate the parking duration automatically.

Instead of paying at a kiosk or using a physical payment method before exiting, the parking fee is deducted directly from the driver’s linked Salik account. This creates a completely barrier-free experience, helping reduce waiting times and improve traffic flow within the parking facility.

The multi-storey Harbour West Car Park has 845 parking spaces spread across nine levels, including rooftop parking. It has been designed to accommodate visitors heading to Dubai Harbour, while also serving nearby destinations such as Dubai Marina Walk, Jumeirah Beach Residence (JBR), Dubai Media City, and Dubai Internet City.

Parking charges and visitor benefits

Parking at Harbour West costs AED 10 per hour, with charges applied for every hour or part of an hour.

Visitors can also take advantage of a complimentary parking offer. Customers who spend at least AED 150 at participating retail outlets can receive one hour of free parking by validating their electronic receipts before leaving.

According to Salik, the new payment system is designed to make parking more convenient by removing traditional payment steps and creating a smoother experience for drivers. The company says the partnership also supports Dubai’s vision of becoming one of the world’s smartest and most connected cities.

The Dubai Harbour rollout marks another step in Salik’s growing digital payment ecosystem, with the company continuing to introduce smart mobility solutions that extend beyond its familiar toll gate network. As more technology-led transport services are introduced across the emirate, motorists can expect faster, simpler, and more connected travel experiences in the years ahead.
