Dubai safety rating has reached an impressive 99.9 per cent for daytime safety, further strengthening the emirate’s reputation as one of the safest cities in the world. The latest figures were released as part of the Security Quality of Life Survey, conducted by the Federal Competitiveness and Statistics Centre in cooperation with the Ministry of Interior.
The survey forms part of the UAE’s national Security Quality of Life Index, where Dubai Police achieved an overall score of 98.2 per cent. The results reflect public confidence in the city’s security services and highlight Dubai’s continued investment in safety, innovation, and community wellbeing.
According to Brigadier Saeed Abdullah bin Tuwair Al Suwaidi, Assistant Undersecretary for Security Affairs at the Ministry of Interior, daytime safety is one of three key indicators used to measure how secure residents and visitors feel across the country.
Strong public confidence in safety and policing
In addition to the near-perfect daytime safety score, Dubai Police recorded 98.7 per cent for people feeling safe while walking alone at night. Public confidence in police stations also remained high, with a score of 96.2 per cent.

These results reflect the force’s continued efforts to provide a safe environment for residents, visitors, and businesses across the emirate. They also reinforce Dubai’s long-standing position as a destination recognised for its low crime rates and high quality of life.
Lieutenant General Abdulla Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, said the achievements reflect the continued support of the UAE leadership, the Dubai Government, and the Ministry of Interior, as well as the commitment and professionalism of Dubai Police personnel.
Digital innovation continues to drive performance
Alongside the latest safety ratings, Dubai Police highlighted several operational achievements from 2025 that demonstrate its growing focus on technology and smart services.
During the year, the force processed more than 218 million digital transactions and achieved a 97.7 per cent digital adoption rate, while customer happiness with its digital services reached 96.9 per cent. It also handled 6.9 million emergency and non-emergency calls and recorded 93.3 per cent in the Future Readiness and Innovation Index.
Dubai Police also received 51 awards, including 12 international honours, recognising its excellence in policing and innovation.
The latest results build on another major achievement earlier this year, when Brand Finance named Dubai Police the world’s strongest police brand, awarding it the highest possible AAA+ brand strength rating and recognising its significant contribution to the UAE’s national brand value.
