ROKA Dubai is expanding with a second location, bringing its acclaimed Japanese robatayaki dining experience to the rooftop of Six Senses The Palm. Set against the backdrop of the Arabian Gulf and Dubai’s skyline, the new venue promises a more relaxed, open-air setting while staying true to the restaurant’s signature flavours that have made its Business Bay outpost a favourite among diners.
Located on the West Crescent of Palm Jumeirah, the restaurant will form part of the upcoming Six Senses The Palm resort, which is expected to welcome guests in September 2026. The new opening marks another addition to Dubai’s growing collection of waterfront dining destinations.
A new rooftop setting with ROKA’s signature flavours
Unlike the existing restaurant at The Opus in Business Bay, the new ROKA Dubai location will focus on rooftop dining and evening experiences. Opening daily from 6 pm, the venue is designed for sunset gatherings, dinner with a view, and late-night socialising.

Guests can expect the brand’s well-known robatayaki menu, a traditional Japanese style of charcoal grilling over white oak. Popular dishes such as yellowtail sashimi, premium sushi and sashimi, black cod, and Korean-spiced lamb cutlets are all expected to feature, alongside a selection of grilled seafood and meats.
The drinks menu will also reflect the restaurant’s Japanese roots, with signature crafted beverages, sake, shochu, and an extensive grape list complementing the food offering.
When will ROKA Dubai open?
While an official opening date has not yet been announced, the restaurant is expected to launch alongside, or shortly after, the opening of Six Senses The Palm, which is currently scheduled for September 2026. Early booking information suggests reservations could begin from October 1, although this has yet to be formally confirmed.
Until then, diners can continue visiting ROKA’s original Dubai restaurant at The Opus by Omniyat in Business Bay, where the brand has built a loyal following for its contemporary Japanese cuisine and lively atmosphere.
With panoramic sea views, a rooftop setting, and the same award-winning robatayaki menu, ROKA Dubai’s second location is shaping up to be one of the city’s most anticipated restaurant openings of the year, especially for those who enjoy elevated dining experiences in unique waterfront locations.
