St Mary’s Catholic Church Dubai
After multiple churches in Dubai announced closures on 3rd April on Good friday, St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Umm Hurair Second announced a reopening for main liturgical services.
However, visitors have been requested to adhere to certain safety guidelines. All outdoor areas within the church premises will be restricted for public safety.
For all masses, only indoor facilities, including the main church, the Bishop Bernard Gregory Hall, the Bishop Paul Hinder Hall, and the rooms above the Bishop Paul Hinder Hall, will be used. Apart from mass celebrations, no other activities are allowed in the church compound.
To avoid overcrowding, prior online registrations are required for each mass in advance. Mass schedules are available on the church website. Only adults (age 18 and above) can register, for safety purposes; children and unregistered visitors cannot enter. If you cannot register in time, online streaming of masses will be accessible.
These reopenings have come after temporary suspensions, which were introduced earlier in April as per safety instructions from government authorities.
