Dubai’s Global Village Remains Closed in its 30th Season

Dubai’s iconic multicultural park, Global Village, closed its doors on Saturday, 28th February, due to the ongoing geopolitical tension.

In a post on social media, Global Village announced that it would remain closed indefinitely until further notice, while practising safety measures in line with official guidance from authorities.

The park emphasised that any information about reopening, whether temporary or permanent, will be updated on its website and social media channels.

Global Village Closed During Its 30th Season

The Global Village seasons typically last over seven months, from October to May. Season 30 is currently underway, but the park has not provided any up-to-date information on whether it will resume operations for the remainder of the season.

Despite airport operations in Dubai gradually returning to normal, major tourist attractions and certain public premises, such as churches, have closed.

Such directives from the authorities are most likely intended to avoid large public gatherings in the open as a precautionary measure to ensure safety and security.

The park remains one of Dubai’s most popular attractions, drawing in large numbers of visitors and residents alike each year.
